Second-year head coach Jeff Jordan and the Kanata Lasers enter 2017-18 looking to build on the strides made at the Kanata Rec Centre last season.
In his first season behind the bench, Jordan helped guide the new-look Lasers to their first 50-point season since 2012-13; while Kanata ultimately missed the playoffs, the addition of former CCHL GM-of-the-Year Ian Henderson bolstered the organization’s front office this summer.
With a number of roster changes — including the late-summer additions of Kirill Ulanov and Ugo Roik — Kanata will aim to break into the CCHL playoffs for the first time since 2011.
